Travel Sewing Bag Pattern
I scoured the internet for the PERFECT travel pouch, and none of them were right. I didn’t need pages, I needed pockets. This pouch was made to fit an Olfa 5.5 x 7.5″ cutting mat, which I use for glue basting on the road. There is a section for scissors (a magnet will hold your scissor), and RK tape, a loop for clips, pockets for glue, thread and a needle holder. The pocket on the left holds the cutting mat, as well as bags of prepped blocks. The size is generous enough to also hold a travel design mat. You’ll have everything you need for piecing on the road, and it’s small enough to fit in a purse!
This is a traditional sewing pattern, but uses some hand sewing at the end. It’s advised to use a sewing machine.
