This pattern uses Riley Blake’s National Park postcard panel C8780. There are 2 sizes for the postcards, and this is the smaller of the 2. This pattern is the same as my other patterns: 4.5″ square. The advantage to this pattern is the sign is not appliquéd to the top, so there are no raw edges.

– Foundation Paper Piecing is perfect if you can’t sew a straight line to save your life, and you want to use your sewing machine.
– English Paper Piecing is best if you don’t know where your sewing machine is/don’t have one/want to sew by ‘hand’. But this isn’t like traditional needle and thread sewing.
