Is there anything better for children than a cape to add to their imagination? I’ve made this cape dozens of times for my kids and their friends, and more recently for my nieces and nephews. Every parent ties a blanket around their kids’ shoulders to make a cape…after repeated times of the “cape” coming off, we needed an actual solution. This was that solution. This cape became my kids’ their favorite part of dress up wardrobe (which was a daily occurrence), and will be a staple in your kids’ dress up wardrobe as well. Many wonderful memories were made with this cape!  Your little one will have so many wonderful memories as well!

This pattern uses 2 yards of fabric + scraps for embellishments.
