    This park is on my bucket list the seeing the beauty of the place appear stitch by stitch was really interesting.

    I made this block for my daughter. She took Amtrak, from halfway across the country, to Crater Lake because she wanted to go to Wizard Island. While she was unable to set foot on the island (due to Coast Guard issues) she did swim in the lake and went kayaking for the first time.

    This block had a few challenging spots for me (I am a novice at quilt piecing) but it was perfect to commemorate her trip!
