Thunder the Buffalo – National Park Postcard – PDF Download

When you think of United States’ National Parks, you may think of Yellowstone…you may think of the Wild West…you may think of the wide open spaces where the buffalo roam.  Buffalo are the symbol of the National Parks, and it’s fitting that Thunder welcomes you to the first in a series.

This block measures 10″ high by 17″ wide.  The brown space on the right is the perfect size for you to attach your favorite souvenir or Junior Ranger patches!  The block resembles vintage National Park or Forest signs.  You could also draw the name of the park on the space.  Use your imagination and creativity.

While most of my blocks are perfect for a beginning foundation paper piecer, this is better for an intermediate piecer. No instructions on how to paper piece are given, however there are instructions on the order to piece the units.

This pattern is printable from any home printer on 8.5×11″ paper.

Note: these do not fit the 4.5″ National Park series patterns, exactly.
